When is ‘Munjya’ Coming to OTT? (Streaming Release Date)
Munjya has become one of the most beloved horror comedies in recent times, as shown in its box office numbers. Directed by Aditya Sarpotdar from a screenplay by Niren Bhatt, Munjya has also become another hit in the Maddock Supernatural Universe, and while it does have some flaws, the audience is finding it entertaining nonetheless, proved by its Rs 118 cr. Box office earnings on a budget of Rs 30 cr.
Munjya follows the story of Bittu, a young man who visits his native village, which unveils a dark family secret and an evil spirit in the form of a vengeful spirit known as the Munjya. Now, Bitty must protect himself, his family, and his first love from the spirit who wants to get married to someone named Munni.
Munjya – OTT Release Date (When & Where Is It Coming Out?)
Munjya was exclusively released in cinemas on June 9, 2024, and it became a superhit for the studio and is still earning in theaters. Therefore, the film is not coming out on any streaming services anytime soon. During an interview with BollywoodLife, the director of Munjya Sarpotdar revealed that Munjya will be released on Disney+ Hotstar nearly two months after its initial release in theaters. This means you can expect Munjya to be released on Disney+ Hotstar in the first half of August.

Munjya stars Abhay Verma in the lead role of Bittu with Sharvari as Bela, Mona Singh as Bittu’s mother, Pamela, Suhas Joshi as Bittu’s grandmother Gita, Sathyaraj as Elvis Karim Prabhakar, Ayush Ulagadde as Munjya aka Gotya, Bhagyashree Limaye as Rukku, Ajay Purkar as Balu Kaka, Richard Lovatt as Kuba, and Shruti Marathe as Gotya’a mother. Varun Dhawan and Abhishek Banerjee are also returning to reprise their roles of Bhaskar and Janardan from Bhediya in a post-credit scene.
